ABOUT MCT SECURITY

Built on telecom. Rooted in critical infrastructure. Focused on protection.

MCT Security is the protection-focused pivot of Mansfield Computing Technology, LLC - a family business rooted in national security, telecommunications, and critical infrastructure. Seventy years of engineering rigor and operational experience, narrowed to a single charter: making our clients, and their communities, safer. US-based, operating worldwide.

/ HERITAGE

A family business, narrowed to a single mission.

Mansfield Computing Technology was a general technology practice - telecom engineering, enterprise architecture, and the unglamorous infrastructure work that keeps complex organizations standing. MCT Security is its evolution: the same engineers, the same methodology, the same discipline, redirected to the protection of our clients and the communities they serve.

We kept the engineering. Decades of telecom and critical-infrastructure work taught us how systems actually fail - and how to design for what comes after the first thing breaks. That instinct now lives inside every security engagement we run, whether we're embedded as your CSO, running incident command, or supporting complex field operations.

We narrowed the focus. Protection isn't a side practice for us anymore. It's the charter. Everything else - the technology depth, the cross-vertical reach, the AI work, the executive advisory - exists to serve that.

/ HOW WE GOT HERE

Seventy years, three chapters.

A practice built generation by generation - telecom engineering, crisis engineering, strategic design and planning, and now a singular focus on protection.

CH. 1 · ~40 YEARS

Telecom. Research. Rigor.

Mansfield Computing Technology was founded on four decades of research, innovation, and leadership in the telecommunications industry - backed by military rigor and the process discipline that comes with running critical infrastructure. The work was rarely glamorous; the consequences of getting it wrong were always real.

CH. 2 · ~30 YEARS

Engineering. Strategy. Response.

That foundation evolved into thirty years of technology and security work - proactive and reactive, in politically sensitive and high-consequence environments. Informed by decades of designing enterprise and security portfolios across the verticals we work in today. We learned what holds up under pressure, and what doesn't.

CH. 3 · NOW

MCT Security - crisis engineering.

MCT Security is the charter that came next: the same engineers, the same methodology, narrowed to a single purpose. We exist to make our clients, and the communities they operate in, safer.

/ ON PUBLIC BIOS

Less than you'd see elsewhere - on purpose.

Detailed practitioner biographies and specific engagement histories are intentionally limited in public materials. The nature of the work - the timing, scale, and circumstances of many engagements - would make clients immediately identifiable even with names omitted, which our NDAs specifically prohibit. Client confidentiality obligations and prior employer restrictions further narrow what can be said in the open. Practitioner credentials, references, representative case work, and experience summaries are shared during qualified conversations under NDA.

/ WHEN WE'RE NOT THE RIGHT CALL

Where we draw the line.

We're a senior consulting and advisory practice. Adjacent work is outside our scope by design - engagements we'll point you toward the right provider for, rather than stretch to cover. Knowing the line is part of the value.

/ WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

A practice, not a vendor.

Three commitments that fall out of the heritage above.

Engineering depth, not consulting veneer.

Decades of building things that have to work in the field means we don't hand you a deck and disappear. The deliverable is what you do with it on Monday morning.

Senior people, every engagement.

No junior associate handoff, no offshore back-bench. The person on the kickoff call is the person doing the work and the person on the readout.

Discretion as a default.

Family-business roots and military rigor. Discipline around what gets said and what doesn't - and decades of experience keeping clients out of conversations they'd rather not be part of.

When security is outside your core competency, we sit inside it.
